Two earthquakes hit the southeast Asian country of Myanmar, also known as Burma, on March 24, 2011. The Myanmar earthquakes occurred less than a minute apart and could be felt as far away as Bangkok, Thailand.

The Myanmar 2011 earthquake measured at 7.0 on the Richter Scale, just six miles deep. The second Myanmar quake was also a 7.0 magnitude, but was 140 miles deep.

The Myanmar quake hit along the border between Myanmar Thailand, and Laos.

There were no concerns that the Myanmar earthquake could generate a tsunami.

It is just a matter of time when Burma will experience a high magnitude quake just like Japan. The earth is disturbed and will twist and turn until Jesus comes back to deliver His chosen people. We have seen nothing yet. The earthquakes will continue to become more intense and massive on the Richter scale. Keep watching the news for the ones that will take cities under water.

Hey Colleen,It's ironic your prediction that "Burma will experience a high magnitude quake just like Japan," and then proceed to imply they are not chosen, like you are happy this is happening. So hateful, we all agree. Instead, if you are one of the chosen you should pray for all and consider "Random Acts of Kindness!"

How come you say like this, Colleen?  There are many religions in this world and you should not insult other religions by telling that "until Jesus comes back to deliver his chosen people". you sound like you are happy to see cities under water. Imagine if you are in those cities. Don't be too extreme.

Hey! I feel that Jesus's followers are shallow. I thought otherwise. A person rejoicing on someone else's misery has the damned soul. May peace be with you. Follower of the oldest religion recorded. Long live Gandhi's memory.Urnika

That's right Jeffries. These are the last days. Jesus does this to show that is the Creator and he's coming back soon. Be baptised in the name of Jesus for you to enter into heaven when he comes.

Colleen, What a tool you must be!  Earthquakes are REAL scientific phenomena.  Jesus is an imaginary figure.

Flory Fernandes

Jesus is not an imaginary picture.  He is a true & living god.

Sorry to tell the truth, but he is not real..

It's up to you...but one day just remember this statement:"Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Lord". Hope you don't regret in eternity

Jeff Salway,Jesus is trure, I am glad for you that the creator of this whole universe is not insulted by a small person as you! May God Himself have mercy upon you.

God is supposed to be all powerful and all good.  If he can't stop innocents from being killed in earthquakes, he's not all powerful, and if he won't stop it, he's not all good.  He does provide morally bankrupt people a means to feel superior to others, however.  That's his true purpose.

I almost certain "Jane Smith" that one day you will realize that the absence of God  is what drives humans to behave like gods (HAARP). Things are not what they appear to be and the fact that innocent people die is not to be used to discredit Him. Would you be an instant believer if there was peace on Earth tomorrow and everyone on this planet had a roof over their head, warm clothes and clean water to drink? Everyone is born equal in the eyes of  God. It is how we choose to live our lives and how we influence others around us that makes and shapes the future of our kind. I am nothing compared to what I can be...but I have faith that God will guide me to be the best that I can be, so will all these innocent people affected by devastation and hardship. In their own way they will find the strength to carry on. Believe

naturally this turns into a debate on religion and jesus. Lets focus on the fact that it happened, not who is going to come back for his "chosen people" Lets not try to discuss Jesus and God's role in this. Please... Its a natural disaster, simple as that.

Those phenomena are not being caused by God, but by the Illuminati and its mass-destruction weapons such as HAARP.In the long run, we will be the ones destroying ourselves. This is just a matter of time for the new world order to be established worldwide not before many people are killed. If you don't believe me, read about NWO agenda and mass depopulation, you will get astonished.

Alright well lets not bring religion into this, obviously a "super being" wouldn't need to break through the earth from HELL if he was a heavenly body. All I can say is I feel super bad for Asia as a whole. May everyone keep safe.

Amazing that a troll could infest a report of pain and trouble in the world.

Anyone got any more details?  Damage?  Casualties?  So the earthquake hit, and they fear stronger ones, but what happened?

I'm so sad :( after hearing the news of NATURAl DISASTERS days after days repeatedly. When will this thing stop? It's a big calamity. We should not be racist or argue upon different country, everyone is the same:rich nor poor. Disaster come upon everyone,it doesn't choose only rich people or poor people to cause death, damage and injuries. We all suffer. So,we should help each other, one country to another. Actually, myanmar people are innocent. It's just their government. It needs a change. They can improve a better life if the government is not that bad. Planet Earth is now causing its own disaster. And that's sad. We can still prevent these from happening as possible as we can. May god bless on Myanmar people. Hope earthquake won't become worse. May god save the innocent people from disasters-caused-by-no-one.

This is really sad...i am in Thailand and its real possible that my country will get an earthquake.i am studying in singapore now and my parents are in thailand. i am really afraid now. But you guys cheered me up. I realise that there will be people helping us if things happens to us. and now we have to help those that are in need too. Untill today since the earth quake happened i have been praying for Japan. Now i will also pray for the whole world's safety.I hope no more disasters is going to occur. I am sorry if i offended any of you in anyway.i often speak without thinking. Anyway lets all pray for the world's safety as we live in the same world and we are all in this together.

If the God of the bible was a father here on Earth, he would have his children taken away from him and put in prison for life for the cruelty he caused to his children.
