Naturalist Attenborough Faces Hate Mail from Creationists
Sir David Attenborough, popular broadcaster and historian revealed that he has received hundreds of letters of hate mail from Christians who demonize him, telling him to go to hell, for not thanking God in his nature documentaries.
Angered by this Christian display, the same Christians that claim to represent love, he clarified their meaning to him:
"They always mean beautiful things like hummingbirds. I always reply by saying that I think of a little child in east Africa with a worm burrowing through his eyeball. The worm cannot live in any other way, except by burrowing through eyeballs. I find that hard to reconcile with the notion of a divine and benevolent creator."
A recent advocate against teaching creationism in schools, Attenborogh believes a separation should be clarified between what is myth and what is fact.
"It's like saying that two and two equals four, but if you wish to believe it, it could also be five ... Evolution is not a theory; it is a fact, every bit as much as the historical fact that William the Conqueror landed in 1066."

Hi there! Well I took this picture while visiting a beach called Tivives, in the central part of the pacific coast of Costa Rica, with a group of close friends. We were just hanging out, while all of a sudden these three scarlet macaws showed up and arrived to a nearby tropical almond tree. They started eating the fruts while I kept shooting pictures at them. I waited for some time until they left the tree to try to take pictures of them in flight. This one ended up looking pretty nice. These are really beautiful and incredible animals.

I guess Sir David Attenborough didn't classify these lower forms of life?

This is a Chestnut-mandibled Toucan in the Aviary at La Paz Waterfall Gardens in Costa Rica. Birds in the Aviary are there because they are unable to be returned to the wild for one reason or another.
This photo was taken 3 days before the earthquake of Jan 8, 2009. La Paz Waterfall Gardens will be closed for 3 months while repairs are made. Although there was loss of lives and much damage nearby, no lives were lost (neither human nor animal) at La Paz, nor was there any structural damage to any of their buildings in the earthquake. All the animals are being cared for while repairs to the grounds are underway.
