After spending decades tallying our energy spending in Megawatts, will Negawatts steal the limelight.

The bedroom soul classic Turn Off the Lights by Teddy Pendergrass takes a new meaning if we start thinking how all our lights, gizmos, computers and the rest are burning a hole in our pocket and in the ozone layer.

To my surprise the term can be tracked back to 1989 and a Keynote Address by Amory Lovins at the Green Energy Conference in Montreal...
