This is one of the smaller bees I've photographed - I'm not sure of the variety - but is obviously gathering pollen - he's smaller than the average hoverfly - around 1cm.

Only story is the continuing struggle of honeybees. Found this one in a local garden - unusually small critter - about half the size of most of the honeybees I seen - but as you can see carrying half his weight in pollen.
