Derry, NH - Around 2:00 am on the morning of Dec 12, 2008 the ice storm reached the point where we started hearing trees snap all around the house. The rain and ice continued and trees kept snapping all day. One treetop took out the cable feeds to our house and they lay across the driveway. The power went out and as of Wednesday Dec. 17th the power and cable are still out. We did see crews working to clear trees from the power lines along the main road, but now power company crews yet to start rewiring. Thank God for our generator!
