Following British Columbians accepting that  $100.00  carbon tax cheque from our Provincial government, today we will have cheque cashers remorse now that BC's New Math equates to not a 2.3 cent a litre Carbon Tax, but it seems area gas stations whose new math are now charging us 10 cents a litre more for gas which was supposed to only be a 2.3 cent increase.  That is a full 40 cents a gallon more for gas. So the cheapest grade of gas is now a little over $6.00 a gallon, with premium approaching $7.00 a gallon.  Aren't you glad your new Eco Friendly fuel efficient vehicle states use Premium Gas Only?

Yep, only in BC which seems to be the only Province in Canada that does it their way, as the rest of Canada enjoys much cheaper gas.  Liberal Opposition Leader Stephane Dion, gave Canadian an election promise that  if elected, he will also implement a Carbon Tax on the Federal Level as well.  So that will be another nice tax hike for us to consider next election.   As for our Premier Gordon Campbell, one can be certain it will be a cold day in hell voters will give his liberal party the time of day next election in 2009.   How is that for an "Inconvienent truth? "

New 2.3¢ carbon tax sends gas price up a dime in placesChad Skelton, Vancouver SunPublished: Wednesday, July 02, 2008

METRO VANCOUVER - Gas shot to $1.52 a litre at several gas stations in Metro Vancouver Tuesday, the first day of B.C.'s new carbon tax.

According to information supplied by motorists at www.gasbuddy.com, most gas stations in Metro were selling regular unleaded gas for $1.52 a litre Tuesday.

That's a full dime more than the $1.42 per litre quoted at several stations the day before and several times the 2.34-cent carbon tax levied by the B.C. government starting Tuesday.
