New Tsunami Hits Japan: April 7 (Map)
New Tsunami Hits Japan after 7.1 Magnitude Earthquake
After an earthquake measuring 7.1 in magnitude struck off the coast of Miyagi Prefecture, another tsunami hit the coast of Japan. The quake struck just before midnight on April 7, and the tsunami hit the shore shortly thereafter. The new Japan earthquake was originally reported as measuring 7.4.
The tsunami wave was reportedly a meter to two meters (3-6 feet) high, and no new damage to the region has been reported. This part of Japan was already leveled by the March 11 tsunami.
Here is the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center info on the April 7 Japan tsunami.
A tsunami can hit with more than one wave, with different heights being measured, depending on the topography of the region being struck.

Geez I feel bad for these people.
Life is fragile compared to the power of nature, and we are only a blip on the geological journey of the earth-which is only a blip on the journey of the universe.
Which might exist under the fingernail of some giant being in another universe. Whose universe might be under the fingernail of a giant in..... never mind.
(goes to watch Animal House. maybe get stoned for the first time this millenium)
