New used LADOT Neoplan

This Neoplan commuter bus was built in 2002 for a commuter service run by the Victor Valley Transit Authority between Victorville and San Bernardino. It failed, and the buses sat in storage.

LADOT's Commuter Express, though, bought the buses second-hand and began running them this past fall. So they are new to L.A., and have sat idle for about 2 years.

It also appears the paint job matches the 2006-vintage DASH colors instead of the huge pink and blue COMMUTER EXPRESS lettering.
