Northern Alberta's Tallest Oil Derrick

In the heart of oil country in Northern Alberta the town of Redwater has erected the tallest oil derrick. Many towns in Alberta have erected some kind of largest symbol that their town is know for. Redwater was the site of one of the first oil wells in Alberta. This was taken on Christmas Eve on my way to visit my mother and loaded for the MSH December category of OIL
