Our 2000 Honda Odyssey's odometer.

We bought our 2000 Honda Odyssey brand new on July 1, 2000, with just 29 miles on the odometer at that time. Now, it has about 116k miles on it, and it's still going strong (knock on wood). We plan to be both the first and last owners of it, as we plan to keep it as long as it runs halfway decently. Even though, for most people, 116k miles is not that much, for us, it is, by far, the most miles we have ever put on any of our cars. our 1997 Honda Civic, bought new on December 19, 1996, only has 78k miles on it right now, and, our 2005 Acura TSX, bought new on August 26, 2005 with 128 miles on it, only has about 42k miles on it right now. Also, the car we had before the 2000 Honda Odyssey, a 1988 Ford Taurus station wagon, bought lightly used in September of 1989, only had about 89k miles on it in July of 2000 when we got rid of it, and, it barely ran by then. So, The 2000 Honda Odyssey has clearly provided quite good service to our family of six people plus a dog, seeing as it runs far and away better at 116k miles than the previous car did at 89k miles.
