TruemorsThe Town of Parkfield, located on the San Andreas fault in central California, has been the site of an intensive, multidisciplinary earthquake study since the late 1970's (USGS). This bridge, a few hundred metres from the township, straddles the fault line and was damaged in the 2004 Parkfield earthquake.
