Burger King released a body spray smelling like BK burgers last week, and now PETA has responded with their own special brand of cologne; this one is called 'GORE: Eau de Mort!' from 'Murder King'.

It wants to get to the start of the burger making process, so that people can smell like rotting cow and raw flesh.

“Take just one whiff, and you’ll be reminded of who they’re cooking over there in fast-foodville (or wearing, in this case). What exactly does it smell like? Meat, naturally! And, for authenticity, our scent even includes a maggot in each bottle, just to make the experience realistic.”

In today’s economy, that free maggot is one hell of a bonus from the folks at PETA.

Maggots don't have rights?

Actually, I was drawn here because I thought the pictures were of fresh-caught shrimp, not maggots.  Now, there is something to think about at your next "you peel 'em".

HAHAHA....

That's disgusting...

But you're right, they do look like shrimp.

These wriggling, plump grubs are fed soley on sago plant. To the western eye they are not very appetising but the taste is wonderful. They are quickly fried (to stop them wriggeling) and are served hot, I came across them in a market in Sarawak, Malaysia.

I have watched the internet advert for Burger King's new fragrance (you can watch it here) and can't work out whether to treat it seriously or not. In the press release it seems to be serious, but this advert they've made is just so horribly awful I'm confused. Has anyone actually seen it for sale or is it a big joke? I actually hope it is.
