I really support this. I like urban chickens. There were some in New York.
The allure of fresh eggs daily and natural pest control is too much for some Toronto locavores, and despite the city's prohibition, some residents are quietly keeping chickens in their backyard. One midtown woman, we'll call her Toronto Chicken, has started an online petition to change that bylaw.

kate, I like this story. It's good stuff.
I like that one! Until the 1950th Cities such as Berlin and Hamburg had Farms with in the city even dairy operations and creameries and many used to have chicken on their balcony, still practised in Hong-Kong. London has Bee Hives again now and so does Frankfurt! In some Canadian and US cities even close lines are not allowed any longer, forcing people to use close dryer, not very environmental friendly!
Yes change to laws!
