Mayor Nutter was out in force saturday with his spring cleaning event. The mayor shook a lot of volunteers hands and also took the time to give inspiration to the young children. I was volunteering to give UC GREEN and the USP volunteers press and photo coverage. Ending up discovering many other volunteer groups that are out everyday to make a difference in their communities.

Mayor Nutter was greeted by many volunteer orgs. such as American Cities Foundation, UC Green, Rebuilding Together, and West Shores. The end of the day events had many disappointed however with a BBQ hosted by the Philadelphia Eagles. All the children that volunteered doing as much as they possibly could with hopes of seeing and possibly shaking Mcnabbs hand as well as other eagles were only visited by swoop later in the BBQ. 

The young boy in the citi bank T was extremely disappointed but when i promissed to post his photo here he was very happy. For most of us today was a day to help in any capacity possible to help neighbors and the appearance of the neighborhood with no reward.

Since saturday i have sent volunteer availability to the organizations that ask for my help to get the word out so that people in need and those who can lend support new of them. I hope this article reaches those who can help in their cause from information to a helping hand.
