Photo Update: December 18, 2009

A few months ago, I posted an article and photos I had taken of lenticular clouds (also known as Lenny clouds) because I thought the particular cloud formation was quite interesting.

I was recently passed on another photograph of the same formation of cloud and once given permission to post it, thought it should be added.

This lenticular cloud formation was caught while vacationing in Palm Desert, California in early October of 2008.

Original Article:

On June 8, 2009 I published a post of photos titled, Strange Clouds in the Afternoon These photos were taken of strange clouds that had appeared hovering above a mountain top close to my home. Checking my email the other morning, I noticed a picture on my email news of similar shaped, strange clouds, these clouds spotted over Moscow. Immediately I was reminded about this previous post I had done and my curiosity was again sparked. Where else have these saucer like clouds been seen? What causes these perfectly shaped clouds?

Heading straight to Google, I decided first to look for these clouds that had been spotted over Moscow... For the full article and images of these clouds please visit the article at Okanagan Wildlife and Nature

Lenticular clouds like this have appeared at Mt. Shasta California for hundreds of years, though

the stranger residents of Mt. Shasta claim they are hiding an alien ship and that mt shasta is a landing platform for aliens that live in the mountain. Kinda like a grand central station for aliens in northern california.

People actually travel from ALL over the world to "worship" the mountain every year

Poking around today, I realized that in all the excitment of the last few days I had forgotten to upload MY images... So, I fixed the issue this morning and added a set of three photos, all spotted in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.

Thanks again for all the wonderful support powering this article!
