I'll admit it - I do sometimes kind of love Pizza Hut. It's a very rare incident for me to actually order up a pizza these days, but biting into those hot, cheesy, greasy slices marked many a teen eat-a-thon.

Do you remember stuffed crust pizza? I do! I'm not the only one around here who has contemplated the love/hate relationship with this chain. It turns out I have another reason to continue harbouring mixed-feelings for this corporation: like many jumping aboard the Earth-friendly bandwagon, they are claiming to "go green." For any business boasting a total of 10,200 restaurants worldwide, their dedication to health and the planet is somewhat questionable

The Dallas-based company plans to launch a new “all-natural” pie made with organic tomatoes, toppings made without artificial preservatives and a multigrain crust.

"While customers are increasingly seeking options for more natural foods, they still love pizza," said Brian Niccol, Pizza Hut's chief marketing officer. "That's why we're offering the natural. It allows us to stay on the cutting edge of food trends while delivering on the amazing Pizza Hut taste our customers expect and demand."

Even the boxes the pizzas are delivered in will be made from 75 percent recycled material.

The new pizzas will launch this summer in Tampa and Dallas, then be rolled out to a national audience.

Hmmm...call me crazy but I don't think the "pizza diet" would work out too effectively, organic or not.

Also, what's up with their changing their London signage to read "Pasta Hut"? It looks dreadful.
