Mussoorie, 19 July: A plantation drive was carried out at the combat wing of the ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) on Spring Road this morning. The Chief Guest on the occasion, Inspector General KB Singh was given a warm reception by the officers and jawans of the ITBP force on the occasion, led by RSNegi (ADIG) and Commandant PS Dangwal.
In his welcome address, KB Singh highlighted the need for planting more trees as it had become important for survival. He said, “It is the duty of each individual to plant trees considering the problem of global warming.” Singh motivated officers and jawans to plant saplings, as it was essential for survival of every being.
