Indonesian seismologists issued a tsunami warning early today after a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Indian Ocean, south of Jawa island. Indionesia's meteorology and geophysics Agency said that the quake was 10 km deep with its epicentre 293 km southwest of cilacap in central java. it said, the quake has the potential to cause a tsunami and asked people to remain alert of the danger.
