"I want ladies and gentlemen to remain at your camps. Food is available here, isn`t it?" he asked the evacuees.

The president, accompanied by his wife Ani Yudhoyono and a number of ministers also asked the health condition of Sulami, an evacuee from Sumber Petung village. He later carried Sulami`s one-and-a-half-year-old child, Dira Margareta, on his back.
