A new way to strike which is far more relaxing than standing in the picket line....

Public sector workers due to strike next week in Northamptonshire UK, have defended their decision to visit a pub as part of their industrial action.

Announcing next week's strike action, Unison bosses in Northampton said Wednesday would see pickets and a rally through the town centre while Thursday would see "a buffet for those activists who have taken part in our industrial action... for activists to come together and share stories and have a drink to celebrate the successful action."

Striking workers could include refuse collectors, street cleaners,  trading standards, youth teams and classroom assistants.
