what i do when i'm not eating or sleeping. this sits on top of another identical radiant and is used to produce steam to extract the oil from the tar sands. 250 MM BTU/hr and is powered by GE rocket engine (basically). it is fueled by a 6 inch diameter natural gas line which is a by product of extracting the oil, therefore making this somewhat self sufficient. it takes 8 hours to drive from Calgary to Fort McMurray but it takes approximately 4 days for this unit with a police escort through cities, to get to the job site. this radiant is approximately 3/4 of a block long including the trailer.
