The searing mid-summer heat took a breather today as rain fell steadily all afternoon. As evening broke the rain slowed - thought not entirely - and gave way to sunset that was alive with tropical hues, sandwiched between matching gray layers of heavy storm clouds and tall skyrise rooftops.

Shot with Canon EOS 30D and EF 70-200 F4 L USM.
