Al gore produced some startling statisics in an Inconvenient truth. We are really witnessing an amazing trnasfomration in our planet. We can see it when we look out side, we can feel it in the air we breath.

Though Mr. Al Gore's information was correct, due to concerete evidence; it seems his solution was some what 'wishy-washy'. I feel it my duty to present some of these to you. If you wish to accept and do something very simple to change our planet's path; that is fantasitc. Even if one person changes, then this piece is well worth it.

Here are some facts on Greenhouse Gas Emissions;

*Livestock produces MORE GREENHOUSE GASES than all worlwide TRANSPORTATION COMBINED.

*Generates 65% of human-caused nitrous oxide (296 times as warming as CO2)

*Accounts for 37% of all human-caused methane (23 times as warming as CO2)

Says Henning Steinfeld, Chief of FAO’s Livestock Information and Policy Branch and senior author of the report: “Livestock are one of the most significant contributors to today’s most serious environmental problems. Urgent action is required to remedy the situation.”

All we need to do is lead a healthy plant based diet, and we will be making the biggest contribution in saving our planet.

Yes I do agree, especially the nitrous oxide is bad for the environment and hardly anybody talks about that. I'm completing a study on bio fules and cover that aspect as well.

However to oblige every human being to become a vegetarian  is impossible. We have to find other solutions!

Thank you very much for taking the time in reading and commenting on my piece. I feel very humbled.

I am very interested in your research into bio fuels, I look forward reading more about this.

For the planet to turn to a vegan lifestyle does seem like a big task. But if are fortunate enough to have knowledge placed in front us, it seems imperative that we share it with the world and hope that people can change something so simple in order to save the planet.

If one person can change to a plant based diet, then I feel very humbled and very happy.

We are placed on this planet to protect it, not destroy it. So in honouring our mission, I hope that the message is well recieved.

Thank you so much once again for taking the time in reading and commeting on my piece.
