TruemorsSad news from the Calgary Zoo-------Malti, a 15 -month-old Asian elephant had been stricken by elephant herpesvirus and died yesterday afternoon. The young elephant was a zoo favorite. She was precocious, smart and affectionate-----------a curious, lovely little elephant. Everybody loved her and this is how I want to remember her.
