Reverend Billy was joined by his choir in Long Island, NY to hold a candlelight vigil for the slain worker who died on Black Friday. The group was asked to leave, eventually, by security workers (where were they on Friday!!!??). You can see the video footage, if you haven't already, from Team Spider here.
The retail chain has the honor of the largest civil rights case in U.S. history which revolves around discrimination against women. Additionally, they were sued for not allowing workers to take breaks and for training people when they were off the clock in Minnesota and Pennsylvania.To its credit it the fine organization also tried to sue a brain dead former employee for the cost of medical expenses.

On a personal note I feel lucky that the City of New York has yet to allow walmart to set up shop here despite its "best" efforts. On an unrelated note I should have been born Canadian.What the hell was my mother doing screwing around down here? She could have at least tried to get Irish citizenship wich allows grandchildren to immigrate. Oh well at least we got Obama. So We Shall Overcome.
