"We see the fund to be extended by rich countries as a humiliation for developing nations," a media office of Oxfam International Yon Thayrun said on Wednesday quoting the organization`s statement.

Rich countries will only extend US$67 million to the Least developed Countries Fund (LDCF) to help them adapt to the climate change, a report made by Charlotte Sterrett said.

The money, it said, was much smaller than the money spent by the Americans to buy sun lotion for a month.

The report said US$1-2 billion would be needed for developing nations to adapt to the climate change due to the global warming.

It said the conference was also expected to make a plan to identify new ways in increasing the funding system, so that the people in the developing nations would have resources and supports for their need to plan and protect themselves from the worst impact of climate change.
