The forest department have approved a road over the river Banas, which goes between a vital corridor for Tigers and wildlife. This corridor is vital for the animals to move about freely, without human interference.India has a growing population, they only have 1200 Tigers approx left in the wild. This road must not be allowed to go ahead,we are lobbying people to write to the authorities to get it stopped. You can find out more by visiting www.tigerawareness.co.uk .

phil davis, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. This is an important story but could you add a little bit more about the tiger population in that area, and what impact the road will have and why the government says it is doing this? If you need some tips  Please review our FAQ or check out our J-Tips for more help.
