PCC streetcar painted in the traditional color scheme of San Francisco-based MUNI. This car, built in 1948, was obtained from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority in Philadelphia in 1992. San Francisco has operated PCC streetcars since 1948.

On Oct. 28, 2008, this streetcar, No. 1051, was dedicated in honor of Harvey Milk, the San Francisco supervisor who was shot to death Nov. 27, 1978. Milk, who rode the MUNI line to work, was the first openly gay politician elected to a high office in the United States.
