The science center's friendly receptionist

Visited the Hatfield Marine Science Visitor Center on my birthday. So much fun! It's been updated a bit, but my favorite part is still there - the octopus! This one was relatively new, but s/he seemed pretty friendly. (S/he's missing part of the tentacle on which you can determine gender, so they're not sure which s/he is - androgynous octopus!) S/he swam right up to the glass when we walked in and checked us out for several minutes before retreating to a dark corner. So cool!
