Shane and Sia Barbi, aka 'the Barbi Twins' are rallying for a good cause more than a decade and a half after a pin-up calender made them famous. The Barbi twins who literally look like Barbie Dolls, are lending their, umm, talents, to raise awareness of the plight of America's endangered Mustang horses.

Joining other quasi-celebs, Shane and Sia Barbi are calling on Washington to maintain support for the recently passed Restore Our Mustangs Act, which earmarks funds to help save the endangered species. the Restore Our Mustangs Act was passed by the US House of Representatives but now Republican Doc Hastings of Washington state is questioning whether or not it is an issue worth the $200 million allotted.

Shane and Sia Barbi don't think this is a question worth asking and they have called the politicians who are flip flopping on the Restore Our Mustangs Act "snakes on the hill." Committed to animal rights the Barbi twins have vowed to see legislators uphold the funding they agreed to give toward saving the American Mustang.

The House of Representatives recently passed the “Restore Our American Mustangs Act,” which adds resources to protect these endangered wild horses. According to the news, Representative Doc Hastings, (R-Wash.), is questioning the sensibility of the act given the economic climate and its $200 million price tag. Shane and Sia Barbi, daughter of Willie Nelson, Amy Nelson, and other supporters of the act, are up in arms basically calling Hastings and other politicians “snakes” over their lack of commitment to animal issues.

I think this is a good cause.  It beats some of the pork they add to their stimulus bills.

1969 Mustangs are my favourites, though I bet many old pervs are out there who love 1990 mustangs, especially with their tops down and small trunk space

Why choose?  Take the 1990 "models" and add the features of the '69!
