Sheep Farmers do it better! Or in this case Shepherding broth to the extreme.

My Son send me a video attached to his e-mail. The question asked was, “can we do it better?”

Well, after looking at the video and digging up their work and the algorithm behind it I though certainly we could in theory, after all our Farms motto has always been “Shepherds do it better.”

However what those shepherds in their video “Extreme Shepherding” or as they call them self  “The Baaa-Studs” did was some remarkable work of coordination, Science, Team work, know-how and excellent Shepherding as well as great Animal Husbandry or in this case specifically Sheep husbandry that only Sheep Farmers practice in that way. Since they have to train the Dogs, the lead Sheep’s and know each animal rather well in order to be able to predict they reactions as a group and for each individual as well. This Video and master piece truly deserves a Nobel Price and all those in the Sheep business and practicing Shepherds would know what it takes to achieve such performance.

One has to watch the video it self  in order to see this extremely well done performance of skills and know-how as well as Science and extraordinary team work.

Now mind you it is not the first time that Sheep farmers have done unusual things and performances in Farm shows and parades, however this one was videoed and put past stunts some what in second if not third place.

Sheep Farmers are a special breed of Philosophers and innovators, maybe because they spend so much time with in Nature out side and by them self, thinking up they next trick.

Shepherding is not a job, nor a shore, it is a way of life and a philosophy by it self.

We may not make money with our Sheep, (Ewes, Rams, Lambs,) Wool, Milk and Cheeses but we certainly know how to live. “Shepherds do it better.”

Such a project is certainly a great way to bring a town together.

Now I have to think of a way to beat this. :)
