Sizable Earthquake Hits the Los Angeles area
The Southland gets the shakes once again, this time at 8:39 pm. windows trembled and the foundations rumbled, as a 5.0 quake hit the Los Angeles Basin. Small aftershocks were soon to follow.

People began opening their eyes and began rushing to the sides of the church because the bulbs from the chandeliers were falling and hitting people in the head. After it stopped shaking, they finished the prayer. No one was seriously hurt"

This comes right after an earthquake struck the Southland 17 days ago on May 1st.
Emergency vehicles here in Carson were quick to make their sirens audible as they possibly began responding to some nervous residents.
Cellphone users reported busy signals, as many people attempted to contact family and friends simultaneously.
