-LAX, Los Angeles California

A small but sensible earthquake hit the southland at around 6:11 pm. Reported as a 4.4 magnitude quake, so far no damage or injuries have been reported here at LAX where both employees and passengers are mainly concerned about an H1N1 virus outbreak.

"Many of my coworkers thought it was a plane landing, when I felt it, I was sure it was an earthquake"

-Jackie (LAX Baja Fresh employee)

"I didn't really feel anything. I only really noticed it when I looked at the coat hanger wobbling a little. I was playing Flight Simulator X, so I thought it was the rumble of the jet engines from my subwoofer. No one else in the house noticed it at all and were confused when I asked if they felt the quake."

Zachary G. (Carson, CA resident)
