Westerstraat Amsterdam, 7 a.m. at Wednesday morning. As usual my eyes opened at 7 a.m. (who needs an alarm) and as I looked up, the first thing I saw was snow at my window. Immediately I felt that same rush I used to feel as a kid. When I was 6 years old I used to wake up even earlier and when the first snow had fallen I would get up, get dressed, sneak out of the house and run to the neighbours (who were Christian and therefore had 5 children for me to play with). Last Wednesday I got up, sneaked out of the bed ran to my camera and took some shots....Same rush, different results...
