Jakarta, 26 january 2009 -- For the first time in 2009, a solar eclipse appear again. Many Indonesian people so enthusiast to watch this moment, because this phenomenon will appear in 2016. A recreation park like Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Boscha observatory and Taman Ismail Marzuki is very crowded. "I'm very currious, cause i never seen this before" - said the visitors. many people goes there because in that day, indonesia celebrate Imlek ( a china new year).
A moeslem indonesia also celebrate this phenomenon by doing "sholat gerhana" (it's pray when eclipse appear). they doing this as thank's to the god.
This phenomenon can be watch from 16.00 PM - 17.06 PM. unfortunely, from jakarta can not watch full eclipse. it's only 80% cover. you can watch full eclipse from Tanjung Karang, Lampung or Samarinda kalimantan. A rainy cloud make this phenomenon bugging. to watch this, you need special eyesglasses or filter. a normal eyes can not see this because the intensity of sun is very high and 100% not recommended see this without any protection.
