Solar Panels

Each one of these smaller panels (18"x24") that makes up the larger panel cost about $600.

We stopped to talk to these ComEd fellas on Saturday during the Humbolt Park Earth Day Event. Solar is really interesting, and becoming less prohibitively expensive. I think that wind power has some serious potential here in Chicago. Coupled with solar and net metering, a difference could be made.

I ask all my Flickr friends to not get too greenwashed, but stay mindful of their energy usage and keep all the alternatives in mind.
