The Spotted Turtle-Dove is quite common around where I live. It was originally introduced to Australia from Asia, but has done quite well for itself around the eastern - south eastern areas of the country. I really like the colours in this image.

I actually took this photo at the zoo. I wasn't intending to take photos of wild birds while I was there but this lovely bird was posing so nicely, so I thought why not!
