I desperately need to know what kind of field this is. I was over in Europe and saw acres, and acres of these yellow flowers. It's driving me crazy that I can't figure out what kind it is!

It are flowers called Coal Seed that fertilizes the soil once ploughed under.

You're right hunterswind, Cole or Rape Seed are the same. I made a typing error. On the continent it usually is called Cole Seed in the UK Rape Seed. When speaking many languages you easily get confused.
