This is the view at sunrise into the Fish River Canyon in Namibia it is part of the oldest desert on this planet (Namib Desert). Besides this crack in the landscape, that is carved by the fish river, there is nothing. Nothing is there and nothing happens there. It is a great place to experience the ultimate power of entropy and to calm down.
As the author of the story outlines it is also a great visual description how quite a lot landscapes will soon look like!
