A plan to let customers at the West Edmonton Mall swim with sea lions is being called ill-conceived - and possibly dangerous.
After all, sea lions can bite, says Dr. Toni Frohoff.
The mega-mall announced the program this week. For $149.95, customers can now get in the water with the facility's three sea lions, and at least one trainer, to play and do tricks.
