Texas supports Pickens Plan with a 5 billion dollar investment in renewable energy

Great news out of Texas and great support for Pickens Plan and Al Gore's Challenge. Texas know from cows and oil is going to beat topleader in Windpower in the World, Germany very soon. May be Texas can be the first State in the World that can relie totaly on renewable energy and win Al Gore's Challenge of 100% renewables within 10 years.te Or can we expect more spectaculair investments in new energy sources.

May be it's a good idea to design windturbines which are painted with solar paint or decorated with Thin Film Solarlayers. Should be a very nice combination of wind and solar energy and can speed up totatl installed megawatts from renewables.
