The first major snowfall in Toronto in the 2008/09 winter season happened on 2008-12-17. It was only about 10 centimeters and the city functioned as usual. The city was covered with a layer of fresh snow.
Davey is a tree management company; the crew was cutting some branches off a tree on Hendon Avenue, near Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.
At work, I go for a brief walk after lunch everyday and this was taken near my work place.
