Thikas mother, Tequila has been found dead. She was only 38.

The other eles at the zoo have been rallying around Thika since Tequila's sudden and unexpected death. They are in mourning - all of them - but they seem to realise that Thika's suffering is greater than theirs. Tequila's death remains a mystery. She is greatly missed by herelephant and human friends...
