From the Associated Press:

Authorities in central Wisconsin say at least five people have been hurt as tornadoes and powerful storms ripped through the area today.

A line of severe storms blew across central and southeastern Wisconsin with baseball-sized hail and winds howling up to 70 mph that knocked off roofs and downed power lines.

Heavy rains also pelted the area, causing flash flooding.

Lori Getter is the spokeswoman for Wisconsin Emergency Management.

She says there were five confirmed minor injuries in Columbia County -- one in Rio and four more in the Village of Randolph after a house had its windows blown out.

Authorities in multiple counties confirmed tornado touchdowns, while the National Weather Service said it was working to validate those reports.
