At least 12 workers are missing from the Deepwater Horizon, a deepwater ocean oil rig off the coast of Louisiana. The explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig occurred early Wednesday morning setting off a fire.

Fire boats were still battling the flames on the rig as of Wednesday morning.
"It's burning pretty good and there's no estimate on when the fire will be put out," the coast guard spokesman said.
At least 12 of the 120 crew members of the Deepwater Horizon are missing. An number of injured including 7 critical injured crew members were air lifted to hospitals in New Orleans.
Transocean said its crisis teams are working with the Coast Guard and lease operator BP Exploration & Production Inc. to "care for all rig personnel and search for missing rig personnel."
"The names and hometowns of injured persons are being withheld until family members can be notified," the company said.
The U.S. based Transocean Ltd owned Deepwater Horizon is located 52 miles southeast of Venice, Louisiana.
