Across the street branches are so heavy with snow. It is still snowing occasionally, and we wonder how much more can possibly come. We have already broken all records. We so rarely get snow. We are even south of Albuquerque.
My friend reads me a story about a Canadian ice shelf breaking that is the size Manhattan. It is adrift and may cause problems as it drifts into shipping lane and oil rigs. Crazy weather.

We had a great big snow storm in late December 2006 in New Mexico. Last week we had 9 inches of rain in a couple of days in the southeastern portion of the state. The storms are definitely unusual in their intensity and the amount of moisture. The weather is clearly being implacted.
