Tropical Storm Carlotta Predicted Path: Toward Acapulco, Salina Cruz as Hurricane Carlotta

Tropical Storm Carlotta has formed off the coast of Guatemala, and is expected to strengthen. Carlotta, currently packing 45mph winds, is predicted to become Hurricane Carlotta by the evening of June 15.

As Hurricane Carlotta, the storm will likely hit the Mexican coast on June 16.

A hurricane warning is in effect for the Pacific coast of Mexico from Salina Cruz to Punta Maldonado.

A hurricane watch is in effect for the Pacific coast of Mexico east of Salina Cruz to Barra de Tonala; and west of Punta Maldonado to Acapulco. You can see a map of Tropical Storm Carlotta's predicted path below.
