The National Hurricane Center has reported Tropical Storm Danny as having average winds speeds of 60 mph, with possible acceleration in the coming days. In order for Tropical Storm Danny to be upgraded to Hurricane Danny it must reach 75 mph winds.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 60 MPH...95 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SLOW STRENGTHENING IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

The hardest hit areas are anticipated to be farther ahead when Tropical Storm Danny is predicted to turn into Hurricane Danny. The projected path was released earlier and takes the storm Northeast towards New Jersey.

At present residence of South Carolina to New England have been put on alert for possible tropical storm alerts later today.

INTERESTS FROM THE CAROLINAS NORTHWARD TO NEW ENGLAND SHOULD MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF DANNY. A TROPICAL STORM WATCH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PORTIONS OF THIS AREA LATER TODAY.

At the rate this storm is going it will probably be a hurricane. It seems like the waters in the North Atlantic are getting warmer and warmer .Should be a very interesting weekend.

Lovely day here in the south of France but it will probably rain again soon.  Should be interesting but isn't really at the moment.
