Tropical Storm Ernesto Projected Path: Towards Yucatan, Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize

Tropical Storm Ernesto is moving toward Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, and is strengthening as it goes.

Tropical Storm Ernesto currently packs sustained winds of 65mph, and is expected to become Hurricane Ernesto by early August 7.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the coast of Honduras from west of Punta Sal to the Guatemala border, and north of Tulum to Cancun.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the coast of Honduras from the Nicaragua border, and westward to Punta Sal (including the bay islands), and north of Punta Allen to Tulum on the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect from Chetumal to Punta Allen on the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, as well as the entire coast of Belize.
