Tropical Storm Henri, which formed today in the Atlantic Ocean, is expected to fizzle out within two days according to the U.S National Hurricane Center.

This is the eighth tropical storm of this season, and it formed with winds of 40 miles per hour and was about 600 miles east of the northern Leewards Islands.

The system was moving to the west-northwest at 18 mph on a path that would keep it well north of the Caribbean islands in the near future, the center added.

It is expected to weaken to a depression though over the next 24 hours and most estimates show Henri dissipating by 48 hours.

They are still keeping a close eye on the storm though as some estimates see it heading towards Puerto Rico and Hispaniola, which could damage offshore oil rigs and agriculture.
